Events Committee

The Events Committee leader(s) identify opportunities for partnerships, resources, and sponsorship for new and ongoing events and activities. They provide the KEEN Board of Directors with information about opportunities to co-sponsor, support, or enhance events that fulfill KEENS mission to provide a broad-based network for those pursuing environmental education and sustainable practices. Event Committee leaders may recruit members to help implement events, but are not necessarily responsible for direct participation in each event.

If you have an interest in promoting awareness, education, community-building, and cultivating a culture for positive change, KEEN is interested in your participation. While no experience is required, those with experience in special events, publicity, and volunteer management are encouraged to volunteer their skills and abilities.
