In 1968, 22 miles of highway winding through the Yakima River Canyon became Washington’s first scenic byway. After 42 years this unique destination still has not seen the enhancement and revitalization it deserves. It is time to update and implement the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan.

The Cascade Land Conservancy is working to revitalize this historical scenic byway through enhancing recreation, increasing tourism, improving transportation, and creating natural & cultural educational opportunities.

Through your partnership and support Cascade Land Conservancy can implement the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan.

The fundraising event will be outside in the beautiful setting of Canyon River Ranch Lodge overlooking the Yakima River and natural setting of the shrub-steppe. Folk music softly fills the air while we eat a dinner made from local farms.
