May is Bike-2-Work Month
Hosted by Cascade Land Conservancy
The Bicycle is the vehicle of the future. It has a competitive edge in urban transit: it?s efficient, it?s economical, it?s healthy, it?s ecological, and it?s fashionable and fun. Too often overlooked and underrated, the bicycle is the simplest and most pleasure inducing way to get healthier while saving our environment and reconnecting with our community in a positive way. ~League of American Bicyclists
Cascade Land Conservancy believes that in order to conserve our beautiful farmlands and wildlife areas we must create livable communities in which people want to live...a bicycle friendly town is one of the many attributes of a livable community.
2010 Bike-2-Work Month is a fun and exhilarating way to get in shape, experience your surroundings from a different view point, be part of a team, decrease your carbon footprint, enjoy fun activities and so much more.
